Do You Celebrate Your Birthday?

A birthday is the celebration of birth. An anniversary is a birth celebration. An anniversary is the celebration of birth, while a birthday is the anniversary of the birth. Makes sense? Ahh, forget it. It doesn't matter much.

Many people don't celebrate their birthday, and that's okay. If you do, that's okay too. Those who don't celebrate have their own reasons, and those who do have their own purpose as well. 'Why am I here on earth?' – this is a single question that decides a lot. For extreme pessimists, being born was a mistake in the first place. They don’t even celebrate achievements, so don’t expect them to celebrate what they consider a mistake. For another type of person, it's a chance to acknowledge their existence. 'Thank God I am still alive' – for this reason alone, they believe celebration is a must. Ultimately, it's about perspective, and each individual decides how to view their own life.

People celebrate their birthday in their own way. Some throw parties, some donate to charity, and others make birthday resolutions. Here are the types of birthdays based on the cake-cutting day or party. Not everyone cuts a cake on their birthday. Ultimately, how one chooses to celebrate reflects their personal values and beliefs about the occasion.

1. Birthday

It is normal birthday. Every year on the fixed date.

2. Half Birthday

It is celebrated six months before the actual birthday with a half cake.

3. Unbirthday

This is celebrated on any or all of 364 day which is not person's birthday. It is very flexible type of Birthday celebration; mine type of Birthday lol.

4. Early birthday

You can wish as "Happy birthday in advance." But it is thought unlucky to wish before the day itself. Unless the extenuating circumstances, don’t wish in advance.

5. Belated birthday

It is wished later when you missed the actual birthday. But remember 'happy belated birthday' is logically wrong expression. 'Belated Happy birthday' is the right one.

6. Leaping birthday

People who born on 29'th February of leap year practically don't wait another leap year to celebrate their birthday. Either 28th of Feb or March 1st is leaping birthday.

Did I miss any type? let us know in comment section. Use your celebration as an opportunity to bond with the people you love. Refresh yourself and push towards positivity. Evaluate the passing year and set new goals for the following year. It’s a time to reflect on your growth, learn from your experiences, and be grateful for the moments that shaped you. Embrace the new year as a chance to improve and become the best version of yourself. Celebrating with those close to you can also inspire meaningful connections and strengthen relationships.
